Rachel Gibbs, PT
Rachel Gibbs is originally from Hemphill, Texas. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology as well as a minor in biology from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas – an education which was supported by Rachel’s track and field scholarship. She is a four time heptathlon competitor. Shortly after graduation, Rachel went on to receive her master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She has now worked as a physical therapist for over a decade and has experience in the areas of acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, nursing homes, home health and outpatient therapy.
Rachel is currently the owner of The Balance Center, a fall prevention program that specializes in identifying, diagnosing and better treating dizziness, vertigo and balance related issues. Rachel will be working with patients at Hope Therapy Center to maximize functional ability, reduce current impairments and improve overall quality of life.
She knows life is all about balance! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children, Hunter and Kinley, as well as traveling, scuba diving and going to concerts with her husband, Donnie. Rachel joined the Hope Therapy team in January of 2018.
