Physical Therapist

Jim was born and raised in Pickering, Louisiana. He and his wife, Kristen, now call Lake Charles home. Jim earned his bachelor of science in exercise science from McNeese State University in 2012. He then went on to receive his doctorate of physical therapy (DPT) from the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2017. During his schooling, Jim gained experience in The Therapy Center’s Outpatient Therapy Clinic, Oschner Veteran’s Memorial Outpatient Therapy Clinic and Slidell Memorial Hospital Outpatient Therapy Clinic. After receiving his DPT, he began working as a physical therapist at The Therapy Center’s Guest House of Slidell. Jim also completed the Neuro-IFRAH® Certification Course. He joined the Hope Therapy Center team in the summer of 2018. He has ample experience in caring for a wide variety of physical therapy patients, including geriatric patients and high-level athletes. In his spare time, you’ll probably find Jim spending time with his friends and family. Fun fact: he’s no stranger to his Cajun French heritage. Jim can speak a little conversational French and can even play Cajun fiddle!
