Speech-Language Pathologist

Sara Stanley was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. Growing up volunteering with her church youth group, she knew from an early age that her passion in life was to help others in any way possible. After being exposed to a work day with a Speech-Language Pathologist, she fell in love with the profession. Sara went on to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she received a Bachelors of Arts in 2014 and a Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2017.

She has clinical experience in early childhood intervention, the school setting, as well as in skilled nursing facilities with her true joy being with pediatrics. She is pursuing further education and certifications in TOTs, feeding, childhood apraxia of speech, as well as orofacial myofunctional therapy. Sara joined the Hope Therapy team in July of 2018.
