Cindy Istre is the office manager at Hope Therapy Center. It is the role that holds the administrative side of a therapy clinic together: appointment books that have to line up with therapist availability, records and referrals, and the handoffs between the front office and the treatment floor. Most of it is the part of care you feel before you ever meet a therapist, in how fast a call gets returned and how little of a first visit gets spent on paperwork. The role is non-clinical. What gets handled before you arrive.
Before a first appointment, the front office verifies your specific benefits, deductible and visit limits, then tells you what you will owe up front, so nothing lands as a surprise at check-in. Louisiana is a direct access state, so you do not need a physician referral to start physical therapy, and the office can tell you what to bring and how long to plan for.
