Conditions We Treat in Lake Charles
A mother waiting for a two year old to start talking and a man relearning how to walk after a stroke are both in the right place. The 21 conditions below run from adult orthopedic and neurological problems, back and neck pain, hip and knee pain, sports injuries, chronic pain, vertigo, Parkinson's and stroke, through pediatric development, balance, sensory and handwriting difficulties, and on to speech, sound, swallowing and feeding disorders at any age. Every one of them begins the same way: a licensed therapist evaluates you or your child in person, then builds the plan from what that evaluation actually found.

Every plan is written from an evaluation, not a diagnosis code.
Whatever brought you here, the sequence does not change. A licensed physical therapist, occupational therapist or speech-language pathologist examines the problem in person, tells you what the exam found, and writes the plan from those findings. You then work with that same therapist one on one for the full session, in Lake Charles or Lafayette, and we reassess often enough to know whether it is working. When it is not, the plan changes. Two people can arrive with the same diagnosis on paper and leave with two different plans, because the evaluation, not the label, decides the treatment.
